Austin Reese McDougal, age 25, made his final transition from this world on January 14, 2021, with both of his parents by his side.
Austin loved nature. He was an avid long distance runner and a chaser of waterfalls. He saw the beauty in every single thing. And he saw love in every person. Which is why he chose to donate his organs to give life to others. Austin was so many things to so many people but he was probably best known as a truly gifted artist. Much of his work is here and you can also find his work, along with his own words and descriptions, at “Austin McDougal Art” on all social media platforms. He would be honored to share his gift of art with you.
We have recently made some of his work available via prints. All proceeds going to our non-profit, The ARM Foundation, that we started in Austin’s honor to support those who are grieving, through the modalities of Art, Rest and Movement. Please enjoy looking at all of his beautiful art and if you feel moved, grab a print and support the ARM Foundation as you remember this amazing human that we were lucky enough to call our son and our brother.
